The first meeting of the Programme Committee of the Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF-2026) was held at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission, chaired by Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The key parameters and theme of the main business event of the Eurasian Economic Union countries have been determined.
The forum will be held on May 28 to 29, 2026, at the Astana Congress Centre (EXPO Business Complex) and will be timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The event will take place within the Republic of Kazakhstan's chairmanship of the EAEU bodies in 2026.
The priorities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship outlined by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his address to the heads of state of the Eurasian "five" became the basis for the concept of the EEF-2026. "Digital Transformation and the Trust Economy: Challenges of the New Era" is the main theme of the upcoming event.
The preliminary architecture of the EEF-2026 business program has been formed. It includes more than 30 events, grouped into 6 thematic blocks:

Technology and cooperation;

Events on the sidelines of the Forum;

The forum will place particular emphasis on practical business issues, including a dedicated exhibition fair and a comprehensive business program aimed at creating concrete tools for company development.
“There is a lot of organizational work ahead. Our goal is to make this year's forum a truly effective and useful platform for all Member States and, first and foremost, for businesses. We are creating the year's main event for concluding deals, finding reliable partners, and shaping a new digital agenda for Eurasian economic integration," noted Bakhyt Sultanov, Chairman of the EEF-2026 Program Committee.
