RULES FOR MEDIA ACCREDITATION AND WORK ON THE VENUE
Mention policy
When using materials from the Website of the Eurasian Economic Forum, a link to the Website is mandatory.
When quoting the speeches of the participants of the Eurasian Economic Forum, mention of the Forum is mandatory.
When using photo and video materials taken at the Forum or downloaded from the Forum Website, a mention of the Forum (text or logo) is mandatory.
The Forum Operator has the right to use texts, photos and videos created by media representatives during the preparation and holding of the Forum, with reference to their authors.
Press center
During the preparation and holding of the Eurasian Economic Forum (hereinafter referred to as the Forum), the Organizing Committee operates a press center. The press center informs the media (hereinafter referred to as the Media) about all stages of the preparation of the Forum, the program of the event, the main topics and speakers of the upcoming Forum. The Press Center assists journalists in preparing publications, analytical reviews and expert comments on topics announced at the Forum. Requests for comments and interviews, as well as proposals for outreach are accepted at: eef_press@eecommission.org. When using official information and quoting the statements of participants and organizers of the Forum, the materials must contain a mention of the Forum and the source of the information received or contain a link to the Forum Website if the information is taken from the Website www.forum.eaeunion.org.
A press center with free internet and press materials is constantly operating at the venue of the Eurasian Economic Forum. Journalists are provided with coffee, tea, pastries.

Media Accreditation
Accreditation of media representatives to the Forum is carried out in order to provide the necessary conditions for professional activities in the preparation and dissemination of complete and reliable information about the events of the Forum. Accreditation of media representatives is required to work at all Forum events. Media representatives who have not passed preliminary accreditation and have not received confirmation from the Organizing Committee of the Forum are not allowed to the venue. Foreign journalists, including those from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, are accredited to participate in the Forum events through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as the MFA KR) in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Mass Media", the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On protection of the professional activities of a journalist" and the Regulations "On the accreditation of correspondents of mass media of foreign states in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic". An application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for permanent or temporary accreditation of foreign correspondents includes:
A letter on the official letterhead of the media outlet signed by the management of this media outlet or a diplomatic note of a representative office accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic (full name of the sent correspondents, technical staff, terms and purpose of accreditation)

The decision on temporary accreditation of a foreign correspondent at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is made within a period not exceeding 15 days from the date of receipt of a written request. The term of temporary accreditation is up to 3 months.
The decision on permanent accreditation of a foreign correspondent at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is made within a period not exceeding two months from the date of receipt of the relevant written request. The period of validity of permanent accreditation is up to 2 years.
Journalists representing the mass media of the Kyrgyz Republic are accredited through the Website www.forum.eaeunion.org, indicating the category "Media" in the status of the participant, or by contacting the Forum's press center by telephone: +996 555 070 303, +996 553 898 006 or e-mail: eef_press@eecommission.org. Accreditation is open until 20 May 2022 23:59 Moscow time. Accreditation of media representatives is valid for all days of the Forum: 26-27 May 2022.
The number of media representatives who can take part in the Forum may be limited due to the Organizers' desire to provide media representatives with the most comfortable working hours and quick access to all necessary resources under the conditions of significant media interest in the event and taking into account the limited infrastructural capabilities of the event venue.
Accreditation procedure
A registration application for participation in the Forum can be submitted by both media from Kyrgyzstan and foreign media representatives, and:
- Mass media of the Kyrgyz Republic must be registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Foreign media accredited with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic must have an accreditation card of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Foreign media without accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic must have an editorial certificate (press card) and a business trip assignment on the editorial letterhead of the media organization, certified by the seal of the organization, signed by the head or responsible for HR work in the organization.
Freelance journalists, including photojournalists and videographers, can also apply for accreditation. Decisions on accreditation of freelance media representatives are made by the Organizing Committee on an individual basis.
The procedure for issuing accreditation badges to media representatives
Media representatives receive accreditation badges subject to approval of the registration application by the Organizing Committee of the Forum.
Accreditation badges are issued on 26-27 May 2022 at accreditation points. Information about the location and work time of accreditation points is sent to accredited media on the eve of the event, along with full information about the Forum.
Accreditation badges can only be issued if the following conditions are met:
- if there is a confirmed accreditation in the database of the Forum;
- upon presentation of a passport (passport number must match the number indicated in the registration form)
as well as:
- Media of the Kyrgyz Republic - upon presentation of an editorial certificate or, in case of receiving a badge by proxy, an official letter on the editorial letterhead of the media organization signed by the head or responsible for HR work in the organization, certified by the seal of the organization;
- for foreign media accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic - upon presentation of an accreditation card of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- for foreign media without accreditation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic - upon presentation of an editorial certificate (press card).
The badge is nominal, the badge must be worn in a conspicuous place during the entire time spent at the Forum venue.
Refusal of accreditation
The Organizing Committee of the Forum has the right to refuse accreditation:
• to persons who are not representatives of the media;
• to Mass media representatives specializing in publications of an advertising, reference orientation or highly specialized information that is not related to the topic of the Forum.
The Organizing Committee of the Forum reserves the right to refuse accreditation without explanation.
Conditions
During work media representatives are obliged to respect the rights and legitimate interests of the participants and staff of the Forum and to comply with generally recognized norms of ethics.
Opportunities
Pre-registered journalists are provided with the official materials of the Forum, the opportunity to attend all events of the business and cultural program of the Forum. For the media that have entered into a partnership agreement with the Organizers on the information support of the Forum, mutual services are described individually in a separate agreement.
Information support
A media representative accredited to the Forum has the right to:
- use all services specially designed for the work of journalists and press service employees;
- work in the Forum's press center during official events, using the infrastructure of the press center;
- participate in press briefings, press approaches, signing of agreements, presentations and other press events;
- receive information about the official events of the Forum (press releases, business program, list of participants, etc.).
Registered media representatives are sent:
- current program of the Forum;
- list of participants;
- a program of press events, including the signing of agreements;
- notice on work at the venue;
- information about the location and work schedule of accreditation points;
- a link to a cloud resource, where all information about the event, press releases, news, photo archive, videos are promptly posted;
- analytical materials, presentations of speakers (following the results of the Forum).
Responsibilities of media representatives
Media representatives accredited to the Forum must:
- upon receipt of information from citizens and officials, notify them of the conduct of audio and video recording and photography;
- during work present an editorial certificate or other document proving the identity and credentials of a journalist, upon first request;
- suspend (stop) photo/video filming at the request of representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Forum;
- do not distribute printed materials at the Forum venue without the consent of the Organizing Committee;
- when using official information and quoting the statements of the Forum participants, indicate in the materials the mention of the Forum and the source of the information received, and for electronic media provide a link to the official Website of the Forum www.forum.eaeunion.org. Making any changes, additions or distortions to the copied (quoted) information is not allowed.
