The second Eurasian Economic Forum (EAEF) in Moscow will feature a whole range of events with representatives of the Indonesian government and business community, including a business dialogue, business breakfast, and a series of B2B meetings and presentations. The EAEF 2023 will take place on 24–25 May in Moscow and will be organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
“Indonesia is the Forum’s partner country this year. A large delegation at the ministerial level as well as the heads of companies in various industries will visit us. We invite the businesses of our countries to take advantage of this unique opportunity to network and discuss cooperation with the largest economy of Southeast Asia, particularly since we have recently commenced negotiations on free trade,” Eurasian Economic Commission Minister of Trade Andrey Slepnev said.
The participants in the EAEU–Indonesia business dialogue will consider priorities for intensifying cooperation and discuss the creation of sustainable infrastructure, building supply chains, developing digital initiatives, and eliminating non-tariff barriers.
After the main speakers finish their speeches and an open discussion is held, the business dialogue will continue in the format of a business breakfast and B2B events, including networking sessions and bilateral meetings of companies in meeting rooms.
The second Eurasian Economic Forum is timed to coincide with a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the heads of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and observer states. The events are being held as part of Russia’s chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2023. The Forum aims to improve cooperative ties in the Eurasian space.
