On 28 May in Astana, as part of the Eurasian Economic Forum, a panel session organized by the Technical Regulation Unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission will take place under the title “Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in SPS Measures: Innovative Solutions.”
The session will be moderated by Alexander Subbotin, Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The event is planned as a dialogue with heads of authorized bodies and representatives of the business community from the member states of the Union. Speakers will include representatives of a number of international organizations.
During the session, the following issues will be discussed:
- prospects for the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to ensure sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, as well as veterinary, and phytosanitary safety within the EAEU;
- international experience in using digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the application of sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary measures (SPS measures);
- artificial intelligence as a potential tool for preventing the emergence of administrative barriers in the application of these measures.
