On 28 May 2026, as part of the Fifth Eurasian Economic Forum, the Economy and Financial Policy unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission will hold a panel session titled “Developing the EAEU Labor Market Through Digital Tools.”
The digitalization of the economy and the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence technologies are creating both new challenges and additional opportunities for the common labor market of the Eurasian Economic Union. In this context, developing coordinated approaches to the use of digital tools aimed at enhancing workforce mobility and facilitating legal labor migration is becoming increasingly important.
All EAEU member states are already implementing and expanding national electronic services in the field of labor migration. A promising area of development is the establishment of their interoperability at the supranational level, which would significantly simplify employment procedures for citizens of the Union.
These issues will be central to the thematic session. The session will be moderated by Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Key topics for discussion will include:
-
key directions for the further development of the EAEU common labor market in the context of digitalization;
-
the anticipated impact of artificial intelligence technologies on employment in member states;
-

-

-
