The regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum will take place in Astana on May 28-29, 2026.
The events will bring together the Heads of State of the EAEU member states, observer states to the Union, as well as invited distinguished guests.
The agenda of the Supreme Council meeting, which will traditionally be held in both narrow and expanded formats, covers a wide range of issues related to trade and economic cooperation.
One of the key priorities of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the EAEU is the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies to improve the monitoring of trade barriers, assess compliance with agreements, and enhance the transparency of economic processes within the EAEU framework.
In line with this priority, the theme of the upcoming Eurasian Economic Forum will be “The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence.”
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites representatives of foreign media outlets to apply for accreditation to cover the above-mentioned events.
To obtain accreditation, representatives of foreign media outlets are requested to submit, no later than 18:00 Astana time on May 22, 2026, a list of journalists in accordance with the attached form to the following email address: mfakzaccreditation@gmail.com
Press centers will be organized for media representatives at the above-mentioned events.
On May 28, 2026, foreign media representatives accredited to cover the Eurasian Economic Forum are requested to arrive at the Congress Center (EXPO Business District).
On May 29, 2026, foreign media representatives accredited to cover the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council are requested to arrive at the Palace of Independence by 09:00.
