On June 26, the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk will feature a discussion on the challenges and future opportunities for the EAEU common labor market.
The implementation of measures under the 2025 Strategy, aimed at ensuring the free movement of labor and developing economic cooperation among EAEU member states in the area of workforce training, contributes to the advancement of the Union's single labor market.
The availability of a qualified workforce is a key factor in the sustainable development of the economies of EAEU member states.
The consistent convergence of workers' qualifications will lead to an increase in labor productivity. Developing clear conditions for recognizing professional skills in cross-border employment appears to be a promising way forward.
The following will be discussed at the thematic session of 4th Eurasian Economic Forum 2025, "Common Labor Market: Challenges and Prospects" (10:50 AM–12:20 PM, Hall 3, Level 1):
- Results of implementing Strategy 2025 in the field of labor migration;
- Promising avenues for the continued development of the EAEU common labor market.
During the session, heads of relevant agencies from the EAEU member states, and representatives from specialized UN agencies, the business community, and public organizations, will deliver presentations and remarks.
