On June 26, the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk will host two roundtables focused on fostering cooperation in robotics and industrial nuclear technology. The roundtables will be attended by EEC Industry and Agriculture Minister Gohar Barseghyan.
The roundtable titled Application of Robotic Systems as a Driver for Competitiveness of Industrial Enterprises of the EAEU Member States will focus on the following key topics:
- Establishment of a Eurasian Technology Platform for Robotics;
- Development of an intergovernmental project for the advancement of robotics, as well as the production and implementation of industrial robots and robotic systems aimed at automating technological business processes in the EAEU member states;
- The existing practices in the development, production, and implementation of robotic systems;
- Supply of components for the manufacture, repair, and service of robotic systems;
- Practice of applying and operating robotic systems in industrial sectors.
The roundtable, scheduled from 10:50 AM–12:20 PM in Hall 1 on the first floor, will bring together leaders from government bodies, research organizations, and industrial companies.
The roundtable titled Development of Nuclear Technologies within the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation in the EAEU until 2030: Prospects for Cooperative Interaction of the EAEU Member States will discuss the following topics:
- Potential for industrial cooperation among EAEU member states in nuclear technology and the identification of promising areas for collaboration;
- Advancement of cooperation among EAEU member states in nuclear medicine;
- Utilization of the Eurasian Economic Commission's financial assistance mechanism for industrial cooperation in joint projects involving EAEU member states in non-energy nuclear technology;
- Establishment of a Eurasian Technology Platform for Nuclear and Radiation Technology as a tool to stimulate industrial cooperation.
The roundtable, scheduled from 2:45–4:15 PM in Hall 1 on the first floor, will bring together heads of government agencies, research centers, and EAEU organizations with interest in the development of industrial nuclear technology.
The roundtable aims to highlight the key competencies of EAEU member states in applying nuclear technology across different areas of industry. It will showcase major achievements, projects, and scientific innovations to identify the potential and directions for advancing cooperation within the EAEU.
