Organizing Committee discussed preparation of Eurasian Economic Forum 2024
The Forum scheduled from September 30 to October 1 in Yerevan is timed to coincide with the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council's meeting and will be devoted to outcomes of the Union's ten-year functioning, prospects and priorities of its development.
The Forum's objective is to improve cooperation ties across the Eurasian space. It is planned to be attended by heads of large, medium and small businesses, public authorities of the Union countries, as well as third countries, representatives of international organizations interested in developing interaction with the EAEU.
The program includes more than 30 events, in particular, a plenary session "Digitalization in Modern Realities: an Imperative to Ensure the Four Freedoms", involving the EAEU Heads of Government. During the discussions, experts from the Member States and third countries will discuss new directions of the Union's strategic development.
The meeting of the Organizing Committee was attended by Goar Barseghyan, the EEC Minister and Head of the Program Committee, Members of the Board, representatives of the EEC operational headquarters, ministries and agencies of the EAEU countries.
The Eurasian Economic Forum is the Union's annual business event in the economic sphere. It is held alternately in one of the EAEU States presiding over the Union's governing bodies under the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council dated October 1, 2019. In 2024, the Republic of Armenia presides over the EAEU governing bodies, and the Organizing Committee is chaired by Mher Grigoryan, Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
