The V Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF-2026) took place on 28–29 May in Astana at the EXPO Business Complex, Congress Centre, held in conjunction with the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting attended by the Heads of State of the Eurasian Economic Union member states and observer states. The forum was held within the framework of the Republic of Kazakhstan's Chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union bodies in 2026.
The forum brought together approximately 3,000 participants from 44 countries. The EEF-2026 programme comprised around 30 events organised across four thematic tracks: "Transformation of EAEU Market Development," "Eurasian Connectivity," "EAEU+," and "Side Events."
Plenary Session
The centrepiece of the V Eurasian Economic Forum was the plenary session "The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence."
The session's principal speakers were the Heads of State of the Eurasian Economic Union: President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, as well as Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
The plenary session was also attended by distinguished guests: Vice President of the Republic of Cuba Salvador Valdés Mesa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Ho Quoc Dung, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyamtaishiryn Nomtoibayar, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Atabak, and Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

A total of 15 documents were signed, including agreements, memoranda, cooperation programmes, and contracts. These comprised:
