On June 26, the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk will host a roundtable discussion aimed at strengthening intergovernmental cooperation in the agribusiness sector.
The roundtable, Cooperation in the EAEU as the Path to the Efficient Development of the Agricultural Sector, to be attended by EEC Industry and Agriculture Minister Gohar Barseghyan, will cover the following key topics:
- Agribusiness branches with the highest potential for intergovernmental cooperative efforts;
- Conditions and criteria for financial assistance to joint agribusiness projects;
- Key considerations for developing a support mechanism for agribusiness cooperation projects;
- Potential cooperative projects within the agribusiness sector;
- Challenges businesses face when implementing intergovernmental projects;
- The role of financial institutions in supporting intergovernmental projects within the EAEU.
The roundtable, scheduled from 1:00–2:30 PM in Hall 1 on the first floor, will bring together leaders from government bodies, supranational organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, and the business community.
