During the meeting, the Forum’s concept was approved with the theme "Eurasian Economic Integration in the era of Global Changes. New Opportunities for Investments".
The Forum program proposes a plenary session involving the Heads of State of the Eurasian Economic Union as well as six panel sessions.
One of them plans to consider some prospects for strategic development of the Eurasian integration in the era of global changes. It is planned to hold a number of discussion sessions within its framework: "Strategy - 2025: forming a vision of the EAEU future. New areas and directions of cooperation in the EAEU", "Prospects of the Union’s internal market without obstacles. Paths of development", "Eurasianism as an idea for uniting people. Projection into the future", and "Interaction between the EAEU and promising international partners: mutually beneficial cooperation in the Greater Eurasia".
Another panel session will be devoted to financial markets and development institutions (development banks). The attendees will discuss possibilities for macroeconomic stability and growth points of the EAEU countries’ economies. The following topics are proposed for discussion: "The role of exchange-listed financial instruments denominated in the EAEU States’ national currencies for economic growth fueling"; "Practical aspects of forming an integrated currency market in the EAEU space. Direct exchange rate formation mechanisms of the Union Member States’ national currencies", "Ways to expand the use of the EAEU Member States’ national currencies in settlements within mutual trade", and "International experience in implementing targeted economic development programs. International programs and projects of inclusive development".
The third panel session plans to consider some issues of the manufacturing industry and agriculture as drivers of the Union’s economic growth and ensuring economic security. The following will be discussed: "Main directions of industrial cooperation: key trends, implementation tools, challenges and risks", "Digital modernization of the EAEU agricultural sector", "Technical regulation in the interests of people and the business community", and "The EAEU Jewelry Agenda: results, possibilities and opportunities".
The fourth panel session will be focused on energy and transport infrastructure to promote economic development. It will include a number of subsessions: "Transportation industry as a frame of the Eurasian economic integration", "Council of Heads of Authorized Bodies in the Field of Transport", "Prospects for creating the EAEU countries’ energy corridors", and "Council of Heads of Authorized Bodies in the Field of Energy".
The fifth panel session concerning the Union’s digital agenda 2.0 plans to discuss the following areas: "E-trade: a pillar of the EAEU single market infrastructure", "EAEU digital development as a key to efficient integration", "Public Reception of the Competition and Antitrust Regulation Unit", and "Business Dialogue with the EAEU Customs services".
Another panel session will consider new areas of interaction in the EAEU, including the following: "Tourism industry - a new round of extending economic cooperation", "Developing network forms of interaction in implementing higher education programs", and "Strategy-2025: youth views on the EAEU development".
The exhibition part involves displaying agricultural goods as well as demonstrating achievements and prospects for this field development.
Besides, it is planned to hold the EAEU Business Council and a business dialogue organized by the Commission.
The candidacy of the plenary session moderator - Alexander Shokhin, Head of the RUIE - was approved.
The Commission, jointly with the Forum’s operator, actively works on specifying moderators, speakers and Forum participants, as well as details of the panel sessions.
The Organizing Committee’s meeting was attended by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Chairman of the EEC Board, members of the EEC Board, representatives of the Union countries’ ministries and departments and the Forums’ operator.
It bears reminding that the forum will be held on May 26 this year in Bishkek on the eve of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council’s meeting.

The Eurasian Economic Forum is an annual business event of the Eurasian Economic Union in the economic sphere, held alternately in the EAEU State chairing the Union's governing bodies – the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the EEC Council. The Forum is held in accordance with SEEC Decision No. 16 dated October 1, 2019.
The event is focused on involving heads of large, small and medium-sized businesses of the Member States and third countries, top public officials of the Member States, heads and representatives of the EAEU countries’ public authorities as well as heads and cabinet officers of third countries, representatives of international, scientific and educational organizations interested in developing interaction within the Union.
The Eurasian Economic Forum's objectives are to further develop economic cooperation between the Member States, to form cooperative ties between the Member States' economic entities, to achieve a synergistic effect from unifying investment and innovation potentials of the Member States and to develop their export potential.
