The New Tretyakov Gallery presents the country's most comprehensive permanent exhibition of 20th-century Russian art, showcasing its diverse range including avant-garde, socialist realism, "severe style," "underground" art, and the latest trends. The gallery features large-scale retrospectives of renowned Russian artists, as well as experimental exhibitions highlighting emerging young artists. The Russian art exhibition from the second half of the 20th century has been recently updated and now occupies rooms 27–35 and 37. In addition to the museum's well-known masterpieces, the collection also includes new acquisitions and gifts acquired in recent years, enriching the Tretyakov Gallery's collection. Notably, for the first time, the exhibition now includes dedicated spaces for unofficial art from the 1960s to the 1980s, as well as for the trends of the late 20th century, marking a significant expansion in its scope.

The history of the Moscow region from the Stone Age to the era of Peter the Great. The museum ‘textbook’ vividly illustrates the history of Moscow and the Moscow region, which has been recorded in the roughly 1,500 authentic items from the museum's collection.

The ‘Model House’ exposition will show how the concept of a unified clothing modelling system for industrial production developed in the last century. It focuses on three key ‘clothes institutes’ for Moscow and the whole country: the Fashion Atelier, the Model House on Sretenka, and the All-Union Fashion Model House on Kuznetsky Most.

The exhibition features works by the artist and innovative teacher Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin and his student Maria Lomakina from private collections and 28 Russian museums.

The Moscow Archaeology Museum is located in an underground pavilion seven metres below the city’s historical centre and directly on the site of massive archaeological excavations that were conducted in 1993-1996. It depicts the medieval capital and how the territory of modern Manezhnaya Square developed and contains general information about the methodology of archaeological research.
Exhibition: ‘Games and Toys of Our Ancestors’
This exhibition presents the centuries-old history of games and toys. Visitors can view toys made of clay, wood, bone, metal, porcelain, fabric, papier-mâché, cardboard, and plastic.

The history of the Moscow region from the Stone Age to the era of Peter the Great. The museum ‘textbook’ vividly illustrates the history of Moscow and the Moscow region, which has been recorded in the roughly 1,500 authentic items from the museum's collection.
Exhibition: ‘Model House. Image Industry’
The ‘Model House’ exposition will show how the concept of a unified clothing modelling system for industrial production developed in the last century. It focuses on three key ‘clothes institutes’ for Moscow and the whole country: the Fashion Atelier, the Model House on Sretenka, and the All-Union Fashion Model House on Kuznetsky Most.
Exhibition: ‘Petrov-Vodkin. Lomakina. Elements of Crimea’
The exhibition features works by the artist and innovative teacher Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin and his student Maria Lomakina from private collections and 28 Russian museums.
Exhibition: ‘Establishing Precedence’
The exhibition presents stove tiles from the first half of the 18th century. They were found in 2015 by employees of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage, Georgy Kostanyan and Yekaterina Tregubova, during restoration work in the chambers of Zhuravlev merchants on Pyatnitskaya Street.
Exhibition: ‘Moscow without Suburbs. Fili’
Landscape is the leitmotif of the exhibition ‘Moscow without Suburbs. Fili’. The exposition consists of oral histories told by townspeople that have been studied by local historians and employees of the Museum of Moscow.

New Tretyakov Gallery Main exhibition (10 Krymsky Val)
The New Tretyakov Gallery presents the country's most comprehensive permanent exhibition of 20th-century Russian art, showcasing its diverse range including avant-garde, socialist realism, "severe style," "underground" art, and the latest trends. The gallery features large-scale retrospectives of renowned Russian artists, as well as experimental exhibitions highlighting emerging young artists. The Russian art exhibition from the second half of the 20th century has been recently updated and now occupies rooms 27–35 and 37. In addition to the museum's well-known masterpieces, the collection also includes new acquisitions and gifts acquired in recent years, enriching the Tretyakov Gallery's collection.
